KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 (Bernama) -- Global Dairy Platform Inc (GDP) has added Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of China Mengniu Dairy Co Ltd, Minfang (Jeffery) Lu to its board of directors.
GDP is a pre-competitive collaboration of dairy sector organizations, focused on encouraging the appropriate intake of nutrient-rich dairy foods and demonstrating the sector's role in sustainable agriculture, a statement said. The upshot in the strategic tie-up is that Skills Johor will be able to receive a boost with the appointment of PSDC's top industry professionals who will be sharing their industry knowledge with the dedicated team of Skills Johor. Under the collaboration plan, committees will be appointed to represent both sides to discuss and draft new industry-driven technical programmes, including vocational and soft skills programmes and to explore ways to bridge the skills gap that exists in the current market. Hackathon participants have a chance to win Qtum tokens equaling US$500,000 (RM2.03 million) and a trip to Devcon 2018 in San Francisco. (1US$ = RM4.05) "Together, we can use Qtum to change the face of digital content, entertainment, identification and more through the blockchain economy, " said co-founder of Qtum Foundation, Patrick Dai. Qtum is a blockchain application platform. The event was announced by Singapore-based, Qtum Foundation. The foundation in a statement said developers, designers and entrepreneurs are invited to build their teams of up to five participants. Demos are due on Sept 16.
