CyberRatings.org, a new member organization, offers expert guidance on addressing Security risk to the cybersecurity community. Founded by the former CEO of NSS Labs, CyberRatings.org provides unbiased ratings, technical reports, and industry analysis for a multitude of cybersecurity technologies. “Sangfor’s security effectiveness was outstanding, with 264 out of 264 evasions and 2325 out of 2331 exploits blocked,” said Vikram Phatak, CEO of CyberRatings.org. “High customer satisfaction makes their product a serious alternative to more established vendors.” The pandemic has changed our world. Business, travel, home and even IT has shifted, with more organizations now forced to move faster toward digital transformation. The well-known Malaysian actor Fizo Omar hosted the event via Zoom.
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 26 (Bernama) -- The lucky winner’s name is Mohammad Saiful Bin Mohammad Amin. The young trader is 29 years of age and works as an aviation engineer with Etihad Airways. He only started trading with OctaFX three months ago, making his win all the more uplifting. Mohammad is originally from the Kulim District in the Malaysian state of Kedah but has been working for some time in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, he could not come home and receive the prize himself. That’s the reason why his mother Rosnah was so kind as to accept the car in her son’s stead. She said, ‘He is a good son, and he is the eldest. We always call each other by Zoom, about three times a week. He only started trading three months ago, and suddenly he walks away with a car as a grand prize!’ The entire ceremony was conducted virtually through a Zoom conference which Fizo Omar moderated. Omar is a famous film and drama actor who appeared in popular movies like ‘Romeo Kota’ (2015) and ‘Kongsi’ (2011). He only recently joined forces with the Forex broker OctaFX. Omar had his own thoughts on this particular occasion: ‘He sent his most special person, his mother, to collect the car. I am also so happy that he kept sharing his profits with her.’ The OctaFX 16 Cars contest is a recurring event that accounted for around 18,000 participants in the last edition alone. Mohammad received the first prize not out of sheer luck: he ranked number one, determined by three major categories—gain, profit factor, and traded volume. The brand new cars offered at this contest were a Honda Civic, a Mitsubishi Xpander, and a Volkswagen T-Roc. The car in question was the Honda Civic 1.5, worth over RM120,000 or over $29,500. About OctaFX OctaFX is a Forex broker that provides online trading services worldwide since 2011. It offers a state-of-the-art trading experience to more than two million trading accounts. OctaFX has won more than 30 awards since its foundation, including the Best ECN Broker 2020 award from World Finance. The company is well-known for its social and charity activity. It also regularly conducts global and local promotion campaigns with valuable money and product prizes. SYDNEY, Feb 26 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- With a mission of empowering the rare disease community, Illumina has today partnered with medical researchers and families to highlight the importance of genomic sequencing and to shine the spotlight on the 300 million people worldwide living with a rare disease. Rare Disease Day is an annual event working towards equitable access to diagnosis, treatment, health, social care and opportunity for people living with a rare disease. In Australia, there are around 2 million people living with a rare disease – 400,000 of which are children. Of those affected, many remain in the dark about their condition and without a diagnosis, families are often left in an unknown limbo; with many spending on average up to 7-years searching for answers1. Maree Dalton, Australian mother of a child living with a rare disease said that “after years of searching for an explanation, the relief of having even a name to the condition is indescribable. Not only does a diagnosis provide answers, it can also lead to further support and access to the right help and healthcare.” “Having a diagnosis offered the ability for our family to connect with others sharing similar experiences,” said Ms Dalton. “These communities offer an invaluable pillar of support during periods of struggle or uncertainty.” There are over 7,000 different rare diseases that are chronic, progressive, degenerative, disabling and frequently life threatening. Nicole Millis, CEO of Rare Voices Australia said: “Gene testing and whole-genome sequencing are instrumental to the detection of rare diseases.” “Ensuring widespread access to specialised diagnostic responses such as genomic testing is important to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis, a priority of the National Strategic Action Plan for Rare Diseases. In future, precision medicine using genomic data and insights into the development of tailored treatment will also play a central role in the management of rare disease,” continued Ms Millis. Illumina’s leading technology in genomic testing and sequencing is responsible for over 90% of the world’s sequencing data. “One of genomic sequencing’s most powerful applications is in helping to identify the underlying genetic cause for a patient’s rare disease,” says Illumina Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan Gretchen Weightman. “These technologies can help families better understand these conditions, make a care plan that is best for their condition and in some cases, patients may even find treatments and most importantly, no one is left behind.” “As a company, Illumina is dedicated to championing the needs of patients and the community. Our work in increasing access to whole-genome sequencing is underpinned by our commitment to further developing and delivering on the promise of precision medicine.” This Rare Disease Day, Australians are encouraged to share a photo to their social pages with painted hands, using the hashtag #RareDisease Day and tag @rarediseaseday, to show the support for those living with rare diseases. RARE DISEASE DAY Rare Disease Day takes place on the last day of February each year. The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives. The campaign targets primarily the general public and also seeks to raise awareness amongst policy makers, public authorities, industry representatives, researchers, health professionals and anyone who has a genuine interest in rare diseases. SUBANG JAYA, Selangor, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- Users of rapidly growing homegrown cleaning solutions brand Kleenso, can now look forward to greater ease in obtaining their favourite products with the opening of the company’s official store on Shopee.
Kleenso Resources, which manufacturers, markets and sells a variety of cleaning and disinfecting solutions for household and commercial use, believes that the opening of its store on Malaysia’s leading e-commerce platform will enable its customers from across the country to purchase its products with greater convenience. “One of the greatest challenges many SMEs in the country face is the ability to reach potential customers,” said founder and managing director Lee Teck Meng. “This is because there is high cost attached to expanding our reach, and we need to ensure there is a sufficient acceptance of our products by retailers at the locations prior to expanding,” added the business owner. He elaborated that e-commerce platforms such as Shopee have successfully enabled SMEs like Kleenso Resources to expand its customer reach across the nation. “For example, the opening of our store on Shopee will enable us to market our top-selling Kleenso 9-in-1 Antibacterial Floor Cleaner, Kleenso Serai Wangi Liquid Wax Floor Cleaner and other solutions to potential users not just in major cities in Malaysia, but also smaller towns across the country,” he said. In the same way, e-commerce platforms offer customers benefits too, according to Lee. “Customers now have greater access to products and services that were once out of reach to them because of physical distance,” said the entrepreneur. To mark its official opening and raise awareness of its presence on Shopee, Kleenso Resources is treating its customers with up to 20% off on selected Kleenso and Pesso products from now till 3rd March. In addition, discount vouchers offering up to 50% off on selected products will be available for redemption. Kleenso’s launch on Shopee is in conjunction with the e-commerce platform’s 3.3 Supermarket Sale. For smoother checkouts, pay with the ShopeePay mobile wallet. “We’re working with Shopee to promote our products to a wider audience, and are offering great deals to reward our users,” said Lee. “With the delivery options that Shopee provides, buyers will receive their goods safely and this enables them to keep their homes clean and comfortable, without even leaving the house.” “We are also enhancing some of our floor cleaner lines with benzalkonium chloride disinfection solution,” Mr Lee adds. “And our Shopee promotion is just the beginning with more new products and campaigns introduced on this platform.” To find out more about Kleenso’s latest products and promotions on Shopee, visit https://shopee.com.my/kleenso.os SOURCE: Kleenso Resources Sdn Bhd FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTACT: Name: Ms Jessie Tel: 019-566 8448 Email: [email protected] --BERNAMA Distributor Appointment Brings Further Support for Kinetic Mesh® Networking for IIoT customers and partners in Eastern Europe
