FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS, April 29 (Bernama-GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, the Province of Tierra del Fuego and MMEX jointly announce the potential development of a green hydrogen project in the Río Grande area.
The Governor of the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Mr. Gustavo Adrian Melella, announced that, “MMEX, a North American company with operations in Texas USA with extensive experience in the implementation, financing and operation of energy infrastructure in Latin America and the USA, is evaluating a project for the production of 55 tons of green hydrogen with 160 megawatts of base wind power.” Governor Melella added, “The excellent wind conditions in the Río Grande area, which allow efficient logistics and production and direct access to the sea, are the basis for MMEX's entry into Argentine Patagonia. The final objective would be the implementation of a green hydrogen node destined to export to Europe and Asia. We welcome and support the participation of MMEX in Tierra del Fuego.” Jack W. Hanks, the CEO of MMEX stated, “We are very excited to join the Government of Tierra del Fuego to plan this project. The global focus on renewable energy and the need to reduce the planet's carbon footprint is at the core of Tierra del Fuego and MMEX's strategy, drawing on MMEX's green hydrogen expertise." Hanks added, “Since 1989, in Texas and Peru, MMEX has built and operated thermoelectric plants, oil and gas pipelines, oil refineries and ethanol plants. It has also explored and operated oil and gas fields. MMEX, in conjunction with Siemens Energy, recently completed a front-end engineering design study for the production of 55 tons per day of hydrogen for this project and its other projects in Texas. Hydrogen can be transformed into Ammonia or Methanol for global exports. It is estimated that the investment will be in the range of US $500 million, generating up to 1,500 jobs in the construction stage and 300 qualified and permanent jobs in the operation stage.” Hanks further commented, “Siemens Energy is a leading manufacturer of electrolysis equipment that enables the transition to clean energy. MMEX has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Siemens Energy and Siemens Gamesa, one of the world leaders in the production of wind towers, which is associated with the realization of this project. This will allow defining the necessary wind turbine and the required land to implement a 160MW wind farm that supplies electrical energy to the Siemens electrolysers to produce hydrogen.” Governor Melella added, “The province of Tierra del Fuego and MMEX have signed agreements on the exchange of technical information. This allows rapid progress in the preliminary assessment of wind potential.” The provincial government, within its support for the development of renewable energy industries, welcomes initiatives that allow the sustainable use of Tierra del Fuego's resources and reaffirms, as a government, its commitment to sustainable development, the preservation of the environment, investment and employment. ### The following constitutes a "Safe Harbor" statement under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995: Except for the historical information contained herein, the matters discussed in this press release are forward-looking statements that involve risks and uncertainties, which could cause our actual results to differ materially from those described in the forward looking statements. Not since ‘The Six Sense’ reveal will audiences be this shocked LOS ANGELES, April 27 (Bernama- GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Home School, the first in an eight-film franchise of supernatural thrillers starring two-time Kids Choice Award winner Charli D'Amelio, will be produced by EGOT nominee (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony) Ryan Kavanaugh—directed by F. Javier Gutierrez. Kavanaugh has brought more than 200 feature films, and 40 TV shows to audiences worldwide, and this will be the second film to list on the entertainment stock exchange, esx.io. Award-winning visionary horror film director F. Javier Gutiérrez (Before the Fall, Rings) has come on board to direct. Home School marks the live-action feature film debut of D'Amelio, the first TikTokker to accrue 100 million followers on the platform. Production is set to begin July 2022. Charli shot to global fame on TikTok after posting dance videos in 2019. Since exploding on the app, Charli has parlayed her success into other ventures. She appeared in a 2020 Super Bowl ad for Sabra Hummus and danced in a Jennifer Lopez music video. In September of last year, Hulu launched The D'Amelio Show docuseries, starring Charli and her family, which has already been picked up for a second season. Charli co-created her own clothing line Social Tourist and has worked with major fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton and Prada. Charli was also the youngest star to appear on Time Magazine’s NEXT list. In Home School, Charli will play 'Mira,' a 17-year-old who moves to a different town to live with her aunt after her mother passes away. After arriving in what seems like the all-too-perfect town, Mira soon discovers that her mother's death and her own future are intertwined supernaturally. "As soon as I read Home School, I knew it was for me. I connected with the character, Mira, the story, the script, and the team. I knew if I was going to do a movie, it needed to be something fun, edgy, and fresh," Charli says. "While the role will certainly be challenging and push me to learn to act and become Mira, it's a fun ride and meant to be fun to make and fun to watch. I also wanted to make sure I surrounded myself with a great team." "When Ryan and I met while developing The Crow remake with Luke Evans, we knew we wanted to foster a creative partnership further. I'm thrilled for Home School to mark our first official project together," explains director F. Javier Gutiérrez. "With its compelling visuals and a strong psychological element, I think Home School has the potential to be a modern classic. I can't wait to work alongside Charli and the Proxima team." His short Brasil, won top honors and numerous awards, including winning the Universal Studios Film Master Award for Best European Director. After its North American premiere at AFI Fest, the film came to the attention of the U.S. industry, landing #3 on the Hollywood International Watchlist. That same year, Before the Fall got an offer for a remake from the late legendary filmmaker Wes Craven. Early in his career, Gutiérrez established himself as a horror filmmaker to watch when his first short film, Brasil, which he directed, wrote, and produced in 2002, also won the Sitges Film Festival, one of the world's foremost international festivals, specializing in fantasy and horror. "We've been developing this project for a few years to bring something new and exciting to the screen," says Ryan Kavanaugh. "Having Javier direct and Charli star is the perfect package. We are going for 'The Sixth Sense' meets 'Get Out,'" said Kavanaugh. Home School is written by Casey Giltner, a Minneapolis-based screenwriter whose script On the First Day of Christmas was featured on the 2021 BloodList and was recently picked up by Village Roadshow and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. SVP of Production at Proxima, Daniel Herther, who shepherded the development of Home School, will be producing as well. According to a statement, a team of investors is working towards making crypto mining simple and profitable. Others have argued that cryptocurrency mining is becoming increasingly difficult, but a new announcement from Dual Miners, which is currently releasing worldwide, the world's first dual-miner hardware, uses both SHA-256 and Scrypt to mine. Additionally, the dual-miners can be configured to process transactions for other cryptocurrencies that use the SHA-256 or Scrypt hashing algorithms. Due to innovative hardware design, Dual Miner's mining chip, FM9800-XD112, achieves high hash rates while consuming the least amount of energy possible. They come with a built-in controller as well as software already installed. Following an extensive period of testing that included evaluating, prototyping, and extreme-condition pressure testing, the Dual Miner's DualPro and DualPro Max hardware products, as well as the DualPremium hardware products, are now ready for mass production. The Dual Miners Enhance Energy Saver system advantages, according to the solution's inventors, include each machine will be equipped with a cooling system, a 7-nanometer chip, a noise reduction mechanism, a regulated operational humidity with a power supply, and a wireless network connection (Wi-Fi) or an Ethernet connection. This licence agreement grants Claritas the exclusive worldwide right to promote and market the deep-learning software solution that improves the quality and efficiency of paediatric MRI scans through Retrospective Artifact Correction. “MRI scans are particularly sensitive to physical movement and for a child to remain motionless for up to an hour to obtain an image of appropriate quality is difficult. The thought of spending 45 minutes to an hour in a noisy, enclosed tube can be intimidating for adults. Sometimes, a child may have to take sedation or undergo a general anaesthetic which brings additional risk and requires close supervision. “This can add delay and limit the use of a valuable tool,” commented Dr Arup Paul, Chief Clinical Strategy Officer, at Claritas HealthTech in a statement. “We are excited about this new technology that can ‘correct’ the image impairment (artifact) caused by physical movement that previously rendered MRI images unusable or difficult to read. “This will reduce the need to repeat scans, give clinicians more confidence in interpreting these images and determining clinical management. This step change in 'artifact correction' will help drive access, quality and safety in Paediatric care, benefiting patients and those who care for them.” Claritas aims to transform the diagnostics industry with powerful and effective software products created using image enhancement and AI technology enabling and assisting doctors and physicians to make accurate diagnosis and improve patient lives.
